The annual Leonid meteor shower peaks this weekend during late night of November 16th until dawn of November 17th. It is best seen during dawn of Nov 17th. Unfortunately only 10 to 15 meteors can be seen per hour this year. Leonid meteor shower are caused by the debris left by the comet Tempel–Tuttle.
The radiant of the Leonid meteor shower lies over the constellation of Leo. Look towards the east direction during dawn of Nov 17th to find the constellation of Leo.
