Felix Baumgartner, in his first major interview with Telegraph, tells "travelling to Mars is waste of money". Felix Baumgartner is a Austrian skydiver, who recently on 14 October 2012 became the first person to break the sound barrier after leaping from 39,045 meters above Earth. Video of his record breaking jump from the edge of space, here.
He urges US Government to divert the money it spends on Mars to on environmental projects on Earth. But Felix Baumgartner, should have known that by studying other planets (namely Mars) we can learn more about our own planet. Also NASA does spend time and resource on Earth science.
