On September 13, 2012 (Sol 37) Curiosity photographs solar eclipse on Mars, as one of the moons of Mars, "Phobos" passed in front of the sun. Since Phobos is too small to cover the Sun, this is technically called as "Transit" - when one celestial body appears to move across the face of another celestial body, hiding a small part of it, as seen by an observer at some particular vantage point.
